Jenny Ball
CEO and Founder
Jennifer Ball was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida. At a very early age, she fell in love with the arts. Following her passion, she attended the Theatre program at Booker High School and shortly after graduation moved to NYC to continue to pursue her dreams.
She went to Hunter College in NYC, where she studied Film and Media Studies. During her time in NYC, she interned and worked for various media companies such as MTV, Variety Magazine, and the International Academy Of Television Arts And Sciences. After ten years in NYC, she decided to take all she had learned and bring it back to her roots in Sarasota, Florida.
One Of A Kind Moments
During Covid, it became apparent that she would need to utilize her creative brain to get through the times. Unsure what to do, she turned to meditation and prayer, which ultimately guided her to create Monalisa Candles.
Her goal was to lift the spirits of everyone she could during these times with an extraordinary one-of-a-kind burst of light. Hoping to remind everyone that even though it may be dark outside of us, inside of us, we all carry a unique, beautiful light, and these are the times when we remind ourselves how much our positive light and kindness are required.
In September of 2020, she threw all her money in and started Monalisa Candles. She looks forward to growing Monalisa Candles to new heights and bringing the light to everyone worldwide.
